All great men endure tribulations, to achieve their goals.
Lailah Gifty Akita
Trials or little tests contain lessons to be learnt.
Norhafsah Hamid
The fire of my tribulations had not simply been pain to be endured. It had been an agent of transformation. After all that I'd been through, I'd changed. Not for the worse, I was pretty sure--at least not yet. But only a moron or a freaking lunatic could have faced the things I had and remained unfazed by them.
Jim Butcher
You can’t take credit for what you do when your back is against the wall.
Tana French
Quit allowing negativity to block the positive gifts which are meant for you along with the hard lessons and tribulations.
Bryant McGill
A candle is at its brightest in the dark.
Matshona Dhliwayo
One thing I've learned is that in the midst of your darkest moments of tribulation, there is no such thing as mass friends.
Richelle E. Goodrich
Those things that challenge the worst in us tend to strengthen the best in us.
Richelle E. Goodrich
You can choose to fight your journey every step of the way or you can embrace it, recognizing each stumble or setback as a opportunity to strengthen your character, finesse your craft, and deepen your passion. Oh this journey can be beautiful if you allow yourself to enjoy the rain!
Kierra C.T. Banks
Through many tribulations, we begin to search for the truth.
Lailah Gifty Akita
If your Lord calls you to suffering, do not be dismayed, for He will provide a deeper portion of Christ in your suffering. The softest pillow will be placed under your head though you must set your bare feet among thorns. Do not be afraid at suffering for Christ, for He has a sweet peace for a sufferer. God has called you to Christ's side, and if the wind is now in His face, you cannot expect to rest on the sheltered side of the hill. You cannot be above your Master who received many an innocent stroke. The greatest temptation out of hell is to live without trials. A pool of standing water will turn stagnant. Faith grows more with the sharp winter storm in its face. Grace withers without adversity. You cannot sneak quietly into heaven without a cross. Crosses form us into His image. They cut away the pieces of our corruption. Lord cut, carve, wound; Lord do anything to perfect Your image in us and make us fit for glory! We need winnowing before we enter the kingdom of God. O what I owe to the file, hammer, and furnace! Why should I be surprised at the plough that makes such deep furrows in my soul? Whatever direction the wind blows, it will blow us to the Lord. His hand will direct us safely to the heavenly shore to find the weight of eternal glory. As we look back to our pains and suffering, we shall see that suffering is not worthy to be compared to our first night's welcome home in heaven. If we could smell of heaven and our country above, our crosses would not bite us. Lay all your loads by faith on Christ, ease yourself, and let Him bear all. He can, He does, and He will bear you. Whether God comes with a rod or a crown, He comes with Himself. "Have courage, I am your salvation!" Welcome, welcome Jesus!
Samuel Rutherford
Life is hard and unfair. It is cruel and heartless, painful, trying, disappointing, unapologetic, and frequently downright awful. But that's not important. What's important is that through it all you learn how much you need your Heavenly Father and how much your friends need you.
Richelle E. Goodrich
Acknowledge that some moments are just plain awful―desperate and gloomy and painful and miserable and nothing at all but anguish. No truthful, cheerful thought in the world will fix it. So let me cry awhile. Don't try to find a sunbeam where a shroud of darkness encloses me. Let me mourn. Then, after the storm, when the tears have run dry and my eyes choose to open, I will look for your rainbow of hope.
Richelle E. Goodrich
In the wilderness, our faith is tested, and God faithfulness is manifested.
Lailah Gifty Akita
When everything has gone down, God wants youto look up
Richmond Akhigbe
The kind of individual that you see on the outside, is never the same person on the inside.
Jonathan Anthony Burkett
He who can endure the worst can withstand any thing.
Lailah Gifty Akita
Be flexible like trees; when the wind blows bend, but do not break.
Matshona Dhliwayo
Perfume is the scent that pours out of a flower's soul when crushed.
Matshona Dhliwayo
When we observe trials and tribulations in our world, there's even more reason to lighten the heavy load. Sometimes life gets tough and it's disheartening. Never mind happiness; what we genuinely need is joy! God didn't intend for us to be sad or serious all of the time. His word in Proverbs 17:22 (ESV) says, “A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.
Dana Arcuri
Sometimes the reason God doesn't show up to win your battles is because he already put inside of you the power to end it.
Shannon L. Alder
I am the bended, but not broken. I am the power of the thunderstorm. I am the beauty in the beast. I am the strength in weakness. I am the confidence in the midst of doubt. I am Her!
Kierra C.T. Banks
The ugliest storms paint the loveliest rainbows.
Matshona Dhliwayo

Mokokoma Mokhonoana
Be joyful in tribulations.
Lailah Gifty Akita
Through our trials and tribulations, our stint in the wilderness of our lives, if you will, we come face to face with our darker traits, do battle with them, and round off the rougher edges of our character in the process.
Auliq-Ice
Through many tributions, we begin to search for the truth.
Lailah Gifty Akita
At such times, the heart of man turns instictively towards his Maker. In prosperity, and whenever there is nothing to injure or make him afraid, he remembers Him not, and is ready to defy Him; but place him in the midst of dangers, cut him off from human aid, let the grave open before him, then it is, in the time of his tribulation, that the scoffer and unbelieving man turns to God for help, feeling there is no other hope, or refuge, or safety, save in his protecting arm.
